Murti Banani Eco-Tourism Centre under West Bengal Forest Development Corportion Ltd. Is a picturesque tourist destination located on the banks of the Murti River in the Dooars Region. Murti, as a place, is situated besides the Murti River between Chapramari Forest & Gorumara National Park. The entire Dooars Range of forests can be reached from this Eco-Tourism Centre. The forests have a wide range of Wildlives (Indian Bison, Elephants, Various types of Deer & Birds) are also visible from this Eco-Tourism Centre during the early morning and evening hours.
Facilities :-
1. Murti Banani Eco-Tourism Centre, having 17 Nos. of well equipped rooms, with provision of eco-friendly welcome kit.
2. Tourists are welcome here with traditional khadda and welcome drink.
3. Local cuisine is available here (Special mention Boroli Fish).
4. Folk Dance is arranged on every Thursday of the week (the program remain close every June to September due to rainy season). The programme is arranged on special days i.e. Holi, X-mas day, New Year.
